Deciding What College or What Degree

Deciding What College or What Degree

Postby graphicaljunkie on Tue May 25, 2010 5:32 pm

I'm not sure which way to go on this unless their is an alternative?

I want to go to college where I'll be able to get a Bachelor in my Major.
(Digtal Design Graphics/Multi Media Design)

But theirs a slight problem..

I want to go Devry University b/c its always been a College i have been interested in for the simple fact that they give
Bachelor Degrees for my Major, but with doing more research in finding other colleges I've discover Columbus State Community College.

at Columbus State, It's ALOT cheaper and they also have Womens Baskbetball there. Ive been playing basketball
just about all of my life. Its my sport, and I'm very good at it. So im even more siked about going there to futher my basketball career and hopefully get a Scholarship for it. The only down side of it is that my Major at Columbus State only
gives an Associates Degree =/

Is their any alternative for me futhering my Degree to a Bachelor if I were to go to Columbus State Community College?

I'd really like to get anyone's input or advice on this.

Hi there! One option for you would be to go to Columbus State for two years, earn your associate's degree and then transfer and earn a bachelor's degree. A lot of students do this and it will give you the opportunity to see whether or not you want to stick withing the design field!

Go to Colombus State for a while, earn your associates and then transfer over to the original school you had wanted to attend. All of your credits earned will move over with you so you shouldn't have to start over and you will have been able to do both options! Have a great one, and good luck!

You probably already made a decision, but you should also look into whether online colleges are also a viable choice for you. There's so many out there; an endless amount of programs and opportunities.

My brother is currently enrolled in this program, he seems to like it fair enough. but I know that he did a significant amount of damage before he decided this was the right program for him. There's so many different ones out there, make sure that you determine which fits your schedule and whether the program is right for you.
